The two-story building in the "shingle style," has a footprint of 10,000 square-feet on the first floor, with its open center atrium and graceful half-circle staircase leading to the 6,027 square feet on the second floor. This building has front desk, a 100 person community meeting room, achieve room, windowed study rooms, computer room, children's library suite, kitchen, restrooms. The building's electric lighting has dimming capabilities allowing them to be lowered when nature provides ample illumination, saving energy. Abundance of windows in the design provides natural light as well as architectural interest. This new construction project is LEED Gold certified.
